Rakhi Making Activity was conducted form classes Pre-Nur to V on 28-08-2015. Children enthusiastically participated and made beautiful rakhies which were later on displayed on the class display boards.
Rainy Season brings with it a wave of activities, fun and games for children.
18th of August children of classes Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Prep enjoyed doing various water activities.
All the children participated in "Boat making activity" with much fun and excitement.
Their zeal further boomed during the "Boat sailing activity" where in all the kids sailed their boats in the splash pool.
By the end of day, it started to rain and all the kids with their umbrellas and rain coats on went for rain walk, which was highly entertaining for them.
Investiture ceremony was organized at Delhi Public School Allahabad on Wednesday 5 August. Newly elected council members of school were administered oath for session 2015-16.
The ceremony was inaugurated by chief guest Dean academics MNIIT Prof. (Dr.)K.K Shukla , Guest of Honour associate professor Dr. Shivesh Sharma accompanied by President, DPS Allahabad Ms. Sonu Singh Raghav and Principal Dr. Sujata Singh by lighting of the lamp.
Office bearers of both the sections were presented badges and sashes by the chief guest Dean academics MNIIT Prof. (Dr.)K.K Shukla and the President of School Ms. Sonu Singh Raghav, Guest of Honour associate professor Dr. Shivesh Sharma and Principal Dr. Sujata Singh.
In his message, the Dean academics MNIIT motivated the students to work and carry out their responsibilities without fear and favour and always follow the path of truth, ahimsa and love for their Country. He also emphasized on the balanced equation of academics and extra curricular activities which can led to a complete development of the personality.
On the occasion, a group of DPS students presented a motivational song but the main attraction of the programme was the presentation of national anthem by the students in sign language.

They made bird houses and bird feeders with waste boxes & bottles with the help of teachers.
They were asked to bring rice & porridge for the birds.
