Vegetable Printing

This activity was geared towards involving a no. of skills like fine motor skills and painting.

Show & Tell Activity

This activity helped the students of classes I & II to improve the quality of expressing power.

Leaf Activity Patterns

Imagination and creativity were boosted up though their pattern.

Pebble Printing

This activity was done to boost up the creativity and imagination.

Thumb Prints

This activity was done to emphasize the creative and imaginative power of a child. Children of classes I & II made impression on the sheet of paper with their thumb and poster colours.

Sharing with friends

This activity was held not only promote exchange of ideas but also to lay emphasis on the values of sharing in a group of classes I & II.

Musical Chair

Learning is incomplete if the students do not get a chance to have for keeping this in mind a musical chair was organised. Children of classes I & II had a great time and enjoyed the game.

Taking care of plants

To teach the children as how to nature the plants, the activity was designed to promote environmental sensitivity among students of class I & II.

Sandwiched

To inculcate healthy eating habits in children.

Magic Bag

To develop vocabulary, communication skills and strong sense by touching.

Paper tearing & Pasting

This activity was done to develop fine motor skills and colour communication.

Science is fun

To develop the concept of solubility.

Janmashtami Celebration

Role play was organised to build confidence in the children on stage.

Picturesque Printing

The activity was conducted for motor skills development, finger co-ordination & colour combination.

The Elixir of life (Watering plants)

The activity was conducted with a purpose to teach the children the proper use of water.

Mixed Bag

This activity was organised to analyse the concept of adjectives of a child to the children more expressive.

Baby Day Out

Children were taken to the school canteen to purchase food items on their own with the money they were asked to bring.

Rakhi Making Activity

Rakhi Making Activity was conducted form classes Pre-Nur to V on 28-08-2015. Children enthusiastically participated and made beautiful rakhies which were later on displayed on the class display boards.

I LOVE RAIN

Rainy Season brings with it a wave of activities, fun and games for children.
18th of August children of classes Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Prep enjoyed doing various water activities.
All the children participated in "Boat making activity" with much fun and excitement.
Their zeal further boomed during the "Boat sailing activity" where in all the kids sailed their boats in the splash pool.
By the end of day, it started to rain and all the kids with their umbrellas and rain coats on went for rain walk, which was highly entertaining for them.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY AT DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL, ALLAHABAD

Investiture ceremony was organized at Delhi Public School Allahabad on Wednesday 5 August. Newly elected council members of school were administered oath for session 2015-16.
The ceremony was inaugurated by chief guest Dean academics MNIIT Prof. (Dr.)K.K Shukla , Guest of Honour associate professor Dr. Shivesh Sharma accompanied by President, DPS Allahabad Ms. Sonu Singh Raghav and Principal Dr. Sujata Singh by lighting of the lamp.

Office bearers of both the sections were presented badges and sashes by the chief guest Dean academics MNIIT Prof. (Dr.)K.K Shukla and the President of School Ms. Sonu Singh Raghav, Guest of Honour associate professor Dr. Shivesh Sharma and Principal Dr. Sujata Singh.
In his message, the Dean academics MNIIT motivated the students to work and carry out their responsibilities without fear and favour and always follow the path of truth, ahimsa and love for their Country. He also emphasized on the balanced equation of academics and extra curricular activities which can led to a complete development of the personality.
On the occasion, a group of DPS students presented a motivational song but the main attraction of the programme was the presentation of national anthem by the students in sign language. Vote of thanks was given by Vice Principal, Ms. Rachana Dubey.

PINK DAY ACTIVITY

Pink Day Activity was conducted for the K. G. Section of DPS Allahabad.
It was done to introduce the colour Pink.
Children were asked to come in Pink dress and to bring pink objects.
They also made bunny in craft.
They enjoyed the activity.

BIRD FEEDING ACTIVITY

The K.G. Section of DPS Allahabad conducted the Bird Feeding Activity on 01-05-2015.
They made bird houses and bird feeders with waste boxes & bottles with the help of teachers.
They were asked to bring rice & porridge for the birds.
They were sensitised about caring for the animals and asked to
do the same activity at their home.
